Queen Mary Arab Society
QMUL Arab Society is an independent, non-profitable society that aims to create a home-like environment for Arab students, as well as introduce non-Arabs to the Arabic culture. We do this through cultural and social events.
We organise and promote cultural and artistic events relating to the Arab world. We host a regular programme of activities, including experiencing Arab cuisine and Arabic language classes.
Alongside this, the Arab Society also aims to get involved regularly with charitable efforts, in order to help those who are in need.
Queen's University Belfast Islamic Society
We are getting involved in charity because we really value these opportunities. It is motivation enough for us to portray a positive image of our culture, in a place where there are a lot of misconceptions generally. We always look forward to bringing families together to bring about change.
