My name is Ahmad Rubani and I'm a singer from Birmingham. I come from a Pakistani/Kashmiri family. Having a passion for singing from a tender age of 6, the likes of soulful Sufi singer and teacher, Ustadh Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, played a vital role in my attachment to music.

His voice, Sur, Raag and production of his world-renowned hits, inspired me to learn, study and rehearse music to better my own talents.

In addition, the poetry of Ustadh Ghulam Ali made me comprehend the depth and understanding of ghazals.
