King's College North African Society
From the beginning, it was imperative that our deen was at the core of all that we do. King's College London North African Society aims to unite those with interest in the North African culture, to expand their knowledge and raise awareness of our origins.
We aim to do this via our charitable and volunteering opportunities that are available to all. We're particularly looking forward to the MyTenNights campaign this Ramadan.
King's College Pakistan Society
Our society is a student-led concern, and it brings the best of Pakistani culture to our students.
We aim to host many events and unforgettable experiences throughout the year, raising money for charity. The knowledge that we are helping others is hugely empowering and that is why we take part in charitable events.
Also, having the power to improve the lives of others is, to many people, a privilege, and one that comes with its own sense of obligation. [Hasham]
Kitchen Diaries By Zubda
I am Zubda from London. I have 3 kids and I've always wanted to familiarise my kids with Pakistani food. That was the main reason to start taking an interest in cooking.
Now I'm trying my best to mix both eastern and western cultural cuisines. Since I've been cooking professionally, my passion motivated me to share my recipes to people who love cooking and food.
Having motherhood emotions and being soft hearted, I wanted to help those kids who go hungry. Salam Charity gave me an opportunity to help underprivileged families. I am glad to work with them.
