My name is Sanya Khan. I’m 22 years old and a full time university student, studying pharmacy. I also work in a pharmacy part-time, whilst baking on the side! I love getting involved in charity work as I love helping those in difficult circumstances and I believe that if I’m ever in the position to help someone less fortunate than me, I’m always more than happy to help.

Baked In Bradford

I'm Kirran, the baker behind @BakedinBradford, which has been running for almost a year now. It all started from having a love and passion for baking. I bake various desserts specialising in personalised biscuits for all occasions.

Making a difference and helping those in need is a crucial aspect for me, so when I heard about the 'Come Iftar With Me' campaign, I knew I had to get involved. Salam Charity is an amazing organisation. They work extremely hard to help those from some of the poorest areas of the world with clean water, food, clothing and education.

We're a group of students who have come together to support each other and make an effort to help those in need of aid. We commend Salam Charity on the work they do with refugees and particularly young children. Developing and supporting the future generation is an important task and one that is the responsibility of all of us.
